For the past few weeks i hv been following the Korean Peninsular News closely.
My parents were convinced that war will break out between both Korea, my younger sister naively thought North Korea will be defeated by American simply because they were communist. But i thought otherwise. It is easy to calculate the maths. With the mighty east dragon as ally, it is hard to believe that China will allow the remaining communist land North Korea to be defeated and be introduce to “Ronald Mcdonald”. Similarity, American wouldn’t want to be drag into a war at this period of time with the Gulf Oil Spill issue still not settled, much less to say, be at war with a country of nuclear weapons. South Korea wouldnt want a war now since their economic is growing and they are not prepare to unified with the poor North Korea who will likely to be a burden. And last but not least, the communist North Korean are definitely SMART (well, i can prove that they are smarter than my younger sister for sure).
But then…
History had teach us that War was often trigger by a small egoistic issue.
Why the hell would North Korean soldiers shoot down 3 chinaman at this period of time. Now this is a stupid move. Its like refusing to hold the chinaman’s stretch-out hand while u are about to drown.
The war better not break out.
Most importantly, the breakout of the war will really jeopardize my south korea trip. Just 10 more days to go and i’ll be in the kimchi land! WOOOOOO
